Cancellations and refunds
- If you have a cancellable ticket, you must cancel it no later than 48 hours before your trip.
- To cancel your ticket, you need to do this directly at the station.
- There may be a fee for cancelling your booking
Exchanges
- If you have an exchangeable ticket, you must exchange it 1 hour before your original departure time directly at the bus station or by contacting Intercape.

Boarding requirements
- You must present your Intercape booking reference to board, in addition to the same ID you used when booking your trip.
Seat selection
- Seat selection is not available before your trip.
- Seats are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Travelling with children
- Children aged 0-2 can travel for free, if they travel on their parent's lap.
- Only 1 child aged 0-2 can travel for free per adult.
- Children aged 12 and under cannot travel alone.
- Children between 12-18 can travel alone. However, you will have to book this ticket directly with Intercape. (indemnity form signed by legal guardian required to be submitted at Intercape offices)
Luggage policy
Free allowance:
- 1 carry on item (maximum weight of 5kg/11lbs).
- 1 item in the baggage hold (maximum weight of 20kg (44lbs).
If your luggage is over 20kg, it will be weighed at the station and charged per kilo.
Pet policy
- No pets are allowed on board.
- Only trained guide dogs are allowed for blind passengers.
Accessible travel

Expectant mothers
- Intercape doesn't allow pregnant women to travel if they are more than 30 weeks (7 months) pregnant.

Cancellations and refunds
- Intercity Express Tickets can be cancelled until 6 hours before your trip.
- To cancel your ticket, cancel via your Busbud account or our support page.
Exchanges
- Intercity Express tickets can be exchanged up to 3 hours before your trip.
- You can exchange the date/time of your trip by contacting the bus company directly or by going to the bus station.
Boarding requirements
- Tickets must be shown on your mobile to board.
- You must also show the same ID you used at the time of booking your ticket.
Seat selection
- Seat selection is not available before your trip.
- Seats are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Travelling with children
- Children under 3 travel for free, if travelling on their parent's lap.
- Children cannot travel alone.
Luggage policy
Free allowance:
- No restrictions for carry-on luggage.
- 1 item in the baggage hold. The maximum weight cannot be more than 25kg (55.1lbs).
- Each check in bag must not be more than the following measurements: 80cm x 60cm x 60cm.
- Extra check-in luggage information can be found at the bus station.
Pet policy
- No pets are allowed on board.
- Only trained guide dogs are allowed for blind passengers.
Accessible travel
- Follow our instructions to book a ticket if you are travelling in a wheelchair.
- If you have any special requirements, lease contact Cityliner Express before you travel.
Expectant mothers
- You can travel up to your 7th month of pregnancy. After 7 months, Cityliner Express will not let you travel.
- If you are over 6 months pregnant, you must provide a medical certificate that confirms you are fit enough to travel.

Cancellations and refunds
No cancellations or refunds are permitted for Sable Class Transport tickets.
Exchanges
You can exchange the date/time of your departure until 24 hours before departure (fees may apply).
You can exchange the date/time of your trip by contacting the bus company directly or by visiting their ticket office at the bus station.
Boarding requirements
Electronic tickets (E-tickets) shown on your mobile device are accepted.
You must also present a valid ID or Passport that matches the information used at the time of booking.
Seat selection
Seat selection is not available during the online booking process.
Seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis upon boarding.
Luggage policy

Free allowance:
1 small carry-on bag per passenger, which must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat.
2 items in the baggage hold with a maximum combined weight of 25kg (55.1lbs).
Extra luggage: Information regarding excess weight or additional bags can be obtained at the bus station before departure.
Pet policy
No pets are allowed on board.
Only certified service animals (guide dogs) are permitted to assist passengers with disabilities.
Accessible travel
Follow our instructions to book a ticket if you are traveling in a wheelchair.
If you have specific mobility requirements, please contact Sable Class Transport at least 48 hours before you travel to ensure accommodations can be made.
