Megabus Canada & USA: How can I exchange my ticket?

Have your plans changed? No problem, you may change the departure time/date of your Megabus booking!

• Exchanges up to 24 before your departure. A fee of $3.00 will apply.
• Exchanges up to 6 before your departure. A fee of $5.00 will apply.
• Exchanges up to 3 before your departure. A fee of $7.50 will apply.
• If the new ticket price is higher than the original, you will have to pay the difference, which is not refundable.
• Tickets can be exchanged for a different departure time or date, however route changes are not allowed.

To exchange your booking:

1. Click on the appropriate country link below:

Megabus US (trip in the US)

Megabus Canada (trips in Canada)

Make sure the appropriate country flag is in the upper right-hand corner!

 

2. Input the following information found on your ticket:

• Booking # 
• Your last name or email address used for order

*Please note: there should be no spaces in the booking #. If you receive an error message, ensure there are no spaces after any of the dashes, and try again.

3. Select the ticket by checking the checkbox, and click on “trade in selected tickets.” You can then make the changes you need!
