Rider Express – Cancellations & Refunds

Plans Changed? No Worries! You can cancel Your Rider Express Booking

Canceling 

  • You must cancel 24 hours before your originally scheduled departure 
    • Refund of 50% of the ticket cost: 
      • Receive a refund to your original payment method (subject to bank processing times, up to 10 business days), or
      • Elect to receive the refund immediately as Busbud credits.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before departure 
    • The ticket is forfeit and no refund is permitted 

Tip: If your plans may change last minute, opt for the Refund for Any Reason add-on at checkout, which allows you to cancel 15 minutes prior to departure for a 100% credit refund in Busbud credits 

 

Rescheduling

  • You may exchange your ticket date or time up to 24 hr. before the original scheduled departure time with a processing fee by contacting Rider Express directly at contact@riderexpress.ca 
  • If the new ticket price is higher than the original, you will have to pay the difference, which is not refundable.  

    You can only change the departure time/date of your booking.

    The ticket is non-refundable after exchange

     

How to cancel your ticket

  • Log in to your Busbud account and go to My bookings.
  • Select your Rider Express trip and choose Cancel.
    • Receive a refund to your original payment method (subject to bank processing times, up to 10 business days), or
    • Elect to receive the refund immediately as Busbud credits.

If you booked as a guest or need help, please contact Busbud Support with your order number and the email used at purchase.
