Cancellations and refunds

ADO tickets are non-cancellable.

Exchanges

If your ticket is exchangeable, you can only exchange your ticket:
- On the bus company website here via their chat: https://www.ado.com.mx/
- In person, at the ADO counter, no later than 1 hour before the original departure time.
You must already have printed your ticket. Only the passenger can ask to exchange their ticket.
You must give the ADO agent the following Busbud email: support@busbud.com
If the new ticket price is higher than the original, you will have to pay the difference, which is not refundable.

Boarding requirements

You must show your ticket on your mobile device to board the bus.
Make sure you use the same ID you used when you booked your ticket.

Seat selection

You can select your seats on the checkout page.
This is optional, and you don't have to select a seat if you prefer not to.

Travelling with children

Children aged 5 and under can travel free if they are on the same seat as a paying adult (only 1 child per adult).
Children between 5-12 only pay 50% of the adult fare.
Children aged 13+ must pay an adult fare.
Children must travel with an adult aged 18 or over.

Luggage policy

Free allowance:

1 carry on item is allowed. It must not weigh more than 5 kg (11lbs).
1 bag allowed in the baggage hold. The maximum allowed weight is 23 kg (55.1lbs)

Pet policy

Pets can travel on ADO buses.
Your pet will have to travel with the luggage.
You must carry your pet's vaccination card, health certificate.
Please be ready to have your documentation checked throughout the journey.

Newborns up yo 23 months old can sit on their parents lap for free.
Children aged 2+ must buy a ticket.

2 carry-on items.
They must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you.
1 item in the baggage hold. The maximum weight must not be more than 27.2kg (60lbs).

Travelling with children

Children aged 17 and under cannot travel alone on a Busbud booking. Click here for more details.
Children between 2-15 years of age will receive a 25% discount, when travelling with a full fare paying adult.
Up to 2 children can travel at this redued rate, when they travel with a full fare paying adult.
You can purchase a ticket for a child aged 12-16 to travel alone. However, you must purchase an adult fare ticket, AT THE STATION. You cannot book online for an unacompanied adult. A parent or guardian must buy this ticket directly at the station.
There is a $5 fee for unaccompanied minor forms at the station.
If you purchase a ticket with NY Trailways for an unacompanied minor, please note that they will only be allowed to travel:
- on trips between 07:00am - 08:00pm.
- on trips no longer than 8 hours long (no bus changes allowed).
- if a parent/guardian/custodian will be at the arrival station to meet them.
- only on domestic routes. No international borders can be crossed.

To board the bus, you must either present your printed ticket or show your ticket on your mobile phone.
You must also travel with the same ID you used at the time of your booking.

Seat selection

You cannot select your seat before boarding.
Seats are assigned on a first-time, first-serve basis.

Travelling with children

One child aged 0-2 can travel for free with an adult paying the full fare.
If you are travelling with more than one child under 2 years old, they will have to pay.
Children between 2-11 will pay 50% of an adult price.

Luggage policy

Free allowance:

1 carry on item is allowed.
1 bag in the baggage hold. It cannot be more than 34 kg (75lbs).
Each bag must not be more than 60cm x 60cm x 90cm.
You can purchase extra luggage for CA$5 per bag at the bus station.

Pet policy

Only service and assistance dogs are allowed on Orléans Express buses.

Accessible travel

Service animals and emotional support animals are allowed to travel.
If you need to travel with a service animal or an emotional support animal, you will have to call the bus company directly to book as you need to book a seat for your dog.

Accessible travel

If you need to travel with a wheelchair, please call the bus company at least 24 hours before your intend to travel.
One attendant can travel with you for free if you require assistance.
The combined weight of your mobility device and yourself must not be more than 660lbs.
If you need help boarding, you must be at the pick-up location at least 30 minutes before the departure.
