What is the Refundable Booking Add-On?

The Refundable Booking add-on is an optional service offered by Busbud that allows you to receive a refund under specific circumstances, even if your original booking is non-refundable or only partially refundable. We partner with Refund Protect to manage these refunds. If you purchased this add-on, you should have received an email from noreply@hepstar.com with details on how to apply for a refund.

How Do I Receive My Refund?

  1. Initiate Your Refund Request: Go to https://form.refundable.me/forms/refund to start your refund request.
  2. Include Reference Number: Use the reference number from the email you received from noreply@hepstar.com after booking. It will be in the format: 3 letters followed by a series of numbers (e.g., STA-12345678-1234).
  3. Request Timing: Your refund request must be submitted within 60 days of your trip's departure date.
  4. Response Time: You should receive feedback on your request within 48 hours after submitting all necessary information.

The Refundable Booking add-on covers a range of scenarios including:

  • Pre-existing Medical Condition
  • Pregnancy Complication
  • Death of Immediate Family
  • Public Transport Failure
  • Flight Disruption
  • Mechanical Breakdown
  • Adverse Weather
  • Home Emergency
  • Theft of Documents
  • Jury Service
  • Court Summons
  • Armed Forces & Emergency Services Recall
  • Relocated for Work
  • Changes to Examination Dates

Please Note: Supporting evidence will be required for all refund requests.

Refunds are not provided for travel restrictions associated with Covid-19 or general fear of traveling. If your request is related to Covid-19, you must provide an official positive test result as evidence.
