Understanding Busbud Rewards Membership Levels

Busbud Rewards is designed to reward our most frequent travelers. Our program features four membership levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. As you move up the tiers, you unlock a higher percentage of travel credits on every ticket purchase, helping you stretch your travel budget further.

 

Membership Levels and Milestones

Your membership level is determined by your travel activity within a single calendar year (January 1 – December 31). You can achieve or maintain a level by reaching any one of the following milestones:

  • Bronze: Simply create a Busbud account. It’s quick, free, and gets you started immediately!

  • Silver: Purchase and use 5 tickets, travel over 2,000 km, or visit 2 different countries.

  • Gold: Purchase and use 10 tickets, travel over 4,000 km, or visit 3 different countries.

  • Platinum: Purchase and use 15 tickets, travel over 6,000 km, or visit 4 different countries.

 

Upgrading and Maintaining Your Status

  • Upgrading: As soon as you hit a milestone for a higher tier, you are upgraded instantly and will begin earning more credits on your very next booking.

  • Maintaining: To keep your status for the following year, you must reach the required milestones again before December 31.

  • Downgrades: If the requirements are not met within the calendar year, your membership will reset on January 1st to the highest level you qualified for based on the previous year's travel.

 

Why Level Up?

The higher your level, the more you save! With each upgrade, the percentage of travel credits you earn per dollar spent increases. You can track your current progress and see exactly how many credits you’ve earned by visiting your Profile in the Busbud app.
