How do I earn Busbud Rewards credits?
To earn Busbud Rewards credits, you must book your travel through the Busbud mobile app while signed into your account. Unlike Busbud Credits (which are granted for refunds and can be used on the website), Rewards are strictly an app-exclusive loyalty feature.
It's simple: buy bus tickets through Busbud's app and take the trip. After you use 5 tickets, you can redeem your Busbud Rewards credits on the next ticket you purchase.
How to Earn Rewards
Use the App: Download and log in to the Busbud app on your iOS or Android device.
Book and Travel: You earn credits for every ticket purchased through the app.
Automatic Assignment: Credits are automatically assigned to your account once you have used your ticket.
Group Bookings: You can earn progress by booking for others. For example, booking tickets for yourself and four friends counts as five tickets toward your goal.
The 5-Ticket Rule
Unlocking Redemption: You must use five tickets to unlock your first set of credits.
Redeem Rights: After every 5th ticket used (5, 10, 15, etc.), you earn one "redeem right" to apply your accumulated credits as a discount on your next booking.
Exclusions
- Busbud Rewards is not available when booking tickets on www.busbud.com. Only tickets booked through the app are eligible
- If a purchase is partially/totally paid with credits or with a discount code, no rewards are given
- Credits granted due to refunds (including RFAR) are separate from this loyalty program and follow different usage rules.
