VIA Rail Canada – Montreal Gare Centrale & Dorval Station

 

Did you book a VIA Rail trip with a departure or arrival at Montreal and accidentally book the wrong station? 

Good news — Dorval Station and Montreal Gare Centrale may be interchangeable stops, depending on the VIA Rail route.

What does that mean for you?

If your VIA Rail ticket shows Montreal (Gare Centrale) or Dorval, you can board or disembark at either station, as long as you notify VIA Rail in advance.

📞 Important: Contact VIA Rail Before Your Trip

To avoid being marked as a no-show, you must call VIA Rail ahead of time and ask them to add a note to your file indicating your chosen station.
