What happens to my credits if I cancel my purchase?
If you cancel a booking that was made using credits, the way those funds are returned depends on the type of credit used.
1. Busbud Rewards (Loyalty Program)
If you used Busbud Rewards credits to pay for all or part of your ticket on the app:
Refund of Credits: The exact amount of rewards credits you used will be returned to your account.
Redemption Right: Your "redemption right" will also be restored, meaning you won't lose your progress or your ability to use those rewards on your next eligible app booking.
Availability: These credits will be ready and waiting for you in the app as soon as the cancellation is processed.
2. Busbud Credits (Refunds & RFAR)
If you used Busbud Credits (funds previously granted from a refund or Refund For Any Reason) to pay for your ticket:
Instant Return: The credits used will be returned to your Busbud Wallet balance.
Universal Use: These returned credits remain flexible and can be used on both the website and the mobile app for your next trip.
Expiration: Note that these credits typically maintain their original expiration date (usually 2 years from the date they were first issued).
