To board and travel within Mexico, an authorization document is now required for tourists. This authorization is called the Multiple Immigration Form / Forma Migratoria Múltiple (FMM).

 

All applicants must hold a valid and current passport or card passport and, if required, have a valid unexpired visa.

 

This form can be obtained by electronic means through the INM (Instituto Nacional de Migración) website, here: https://www.inm.gob.mx/fmme/publico/en/solicitud.html 

 

The FMM authorization has a maximum validity of 180 calendar days and shall be valid for one entry only. To board the bus, a valid and current passport, as well as the FMM authorization, is required.

  • Point of entry
  • Date of arrival to Mexico
  • Date of departure from Mexico
  • Personal information
  • Passport information and Visa (if needed to enter Mexico)
  • Email address
