Not all balances are created equal! Busbud offers two ways to save on your travel: Busbud Rewards and Busbud Credits. Use this guide to understand where your funds came from and how you can spend them.

1. Busbud Rewards (The Loyalty Program)
The Rewards program is designed for our frequent travelers.
How to Get: Every time you book and take a trip through the Busbud app while signed in, you earn loyalty progress.
How to Redeem: Once you have completed 5 tickets, your "Redeem Rights" unlock.

Platform Limit: You will only see the "Redeem credits" option in the Trip fare summary on the Busbud App.
2. Busbud Account Credits (Refunds & RFAR)
These credits are typically the result of a canceled booking or a customer service gesture.

How to Get: * Refund For Any Reason (RFAR): If you cancel an eligible booking, 100% of the value is returned as credits.
Exceptional Refunds: Granted by our team for duplicate bookings or medical emergencies.
How to Redeem: These credits are visible at checkout on both busbud.com and the app. Simply log in with your account email, and the option to apply your "Wallet" balance will appear at payment.

"I see credits in my app but not on the website. Why?"
You are likely looking at Busbud Rewards. These are app-exclusive and will not appear on the website checkout.

"Do I need an account to use my credits?"
Yes. Whether it is Rewards or Account Credits, you must be logged in. If you received credits from an RFAR refund, make sure to create an account using the exact same email address from your original booking.
