Cancellations and refunds
- Citiliner tickets are cancellable up until 72 hours before the departure time.
- There is a 20% fee for cancellations.
- To cancel your ticket, contact Citiliner via 0873520352 no later than 72 hours before your trip.
Exchanges
- Citiliner tickets are not exchangeable.
Boarding requirements
- Tickets must be shown on your mobile to board.
- You must also show the same ID you used at the time of booking your ticket.
Seat selection
- You cannot select your seat during your booking.
- Seats are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Travelling with children
- Children under 2 travel for free, if travelling on their parent's lap.
- Children between 2 and 12 will receive 15% discount off the adult price.
- Children aged 12+ pay the full adult fare.
- Children can travel unaccompanied in some cases. However, in these cases you will have to book directly with Citiliner.
Luggage policy
Free allowance:
- 1 carry on item. It has to fit under the seat in front of you or in the overhead compartment.
- 2 items in the baggage hold. The maximum weight of both bags cannot be more than 30kg (66.1lbs).
- Each check in bag must not be more than the following measurements: 80cm x 60cm x 30cm.
Pet policy
- Only trained guide dogs are allowed on board to assist you if you are visually impaired.
- No other pets are permitted.
Accessible travel
- Follow our instructions to book a ticket if you are travelling in a wheelchair.
Expectant mothers
- If you are between 28-35 weeks pregnant, you will have to provide a medical certificate stating that you are allowed to travel. You will have to present this to the crew when you board.
- If you are more than 36 weeks pregnant, you will not be able to travel.

- Eldo Coaches tickets can be exchanged up to 24 hours before your trip.
- To exchange your ticket, you must call the bus company at 086 113 5367 or go to the station.
Boarding requirements
- To board the bus you must either show a ticket on your phone, or present a printed ticket.
You must also show the same ID you used at the time of booking your ticket.
Seat selection
- You cannot select your seat during your booking.
Seats are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Travelling with children
- Children under 36 months can travel for free, provided they travel on their parent's lap.
- Only one child aged under 36 months can travel for free.
- Children aged 36 months+ must pay the adult price.
- You must provide a proof of your child's age when boarding the bus.
- No children under the age of 12 can travel alone.

- 1 carry-on item. This must fit iun the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you.
- 2 items in the baggage hold. The maximum weight of your combined luggage cannot be more than 25kg (55.1lbs).
- There is no size restrictions for your check-in bags.
- For extra check-in luggage, you will be charged 5 ZAR per kg.

- Unfortunately, Eldo coaches are not wheelchair friendly.
Expectant mothers
- Eldo coaches may refuse you boarding if you are 7 months+ pregnant.
- The boarding staff/supervisor has the discretion to deny boarding to expectant women in the final stages of pregnancy as a safety precaution.

Seat selection
- Seat selection is not available before your trip.

- Children aged 0-2 can travel for free, if they travel on their parent's lap.
- Only 1 child aged 0-2 can travel for free per adult.
- Children aged 12 and under cannot travel alone.
- Children between 12-18 can travel alone. However, you will have to book this ticket directly with Intercape.
Luggage policy
Free allowance:
- 1 carry on item (maximum weight of 5kg/11lbs).
- 1 item in the baggage hold (maximum weight of 20kg (44lbs).
If your luggage is over 20kg, it will be weighed at the station and charged per kilo.
Pet policy
- No pets are allowed on board.
- Only trained guide dogs are allowed for blind passengers.
