In Alberta, Ebus buses are not equipped with wheelchair lifts. However, if you are transferable, able to walk up 8 steps on the coach on your own, and your wheelchair or scooter is able to be folded and be easily stored under the coach, you may travel on Ebus.
In British Columbia, Ebus buses are wheelchair accessible. You must book at least 48 hours in advance by phone at 1-877-769-3287. Wheelchair bookings require 24 hours notice for changes to a booking and will be charged a change fee of $15.75.
Due to the lack of regulation or the lack of accuracy of the information provided, each company can manage the accessibility of its buses differently. At Busbud, we want to do our part by offering information on the accessibility policies of bus companies that engage with passengers with disabilities.
