Can I exchange my ticket?
This depends on the policies of your ticket!
You will be able to verify this directly on your ticket (as well as in your Busbud account and on your confirmation email):
If it doesn't say that it is a non-exchangeable or non-refundable promotional ticket, then it means that you can exchange it!
Until 2 hours before departure:
1) You can exchange your ticket by calling 902 64 64 28 if you are in Spain
2) You can exchange your ticket by sending an email to email@example.com and requesting a change of departure to the date/time of your preference.
Please note that Busbud can never directly exchange your bus ticket. That is because once a ticket is generated, we cannot edit the ticket, as only the bus companies have access to their reservation systems.
OR if your ticket is cancellable and you wish to cancel it, we have a solution for you:
You can cancel your ticket directly from your Busbud account. You can create one here. Remember to register with the same email address that you used to book your tickets. If you're unable to do so, just let us know.
However, there might be cancellation fees that vary from 10% to 30% off the total cost, depending on how long before departure you cancel your ticket.
Roundtrips have to canceled together. It is not possible to cancel only one leg of the trip. Therefore, the deadline for a roundtrip cancellation is 2 hours before the outbound departure.
Please verify if your ticket is refundable or not before contacting us, since Busbud cannot issue a refund for a non-refundable ticket.
