This depends on the bus company you're traveling with. We have over 1500 bus operators for whom we sell tickets and their refund policies vary.
The information regarding exchanges and refunds for the company you are traveling with is available on the confirmation email we sent you, by clicking on the link "View terms & conditions". For some bus companies the information is also available on the ticket.
You can also log in to your Busbud account on www.busbud.com to check the policies related to your ticket. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one with the same email you used to purchase your ticket.
It just takes a minute to sign in. For select operators, you can cancel your tickets directly when you're logged in. :)

If your company allows cancellations, refunds or exchanges and your request meets the requirements regarding time before departure and fare type, then we will be glad to cancel or refund your ticket. You can expect to hear from us within 24 hours!
If your departure is imminent or you have an emergency, you can also contact the bus company directly or go to the bus company ticket counter at the bus station. It is usually possible to process an exchange directly at the bus station. You can also send us an email with the word URGENT on it and we'll do our best to get back to you as soon as possible!
